In a message on her website she said she was “heartsick and devastated” about the decision.

“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down,” the Grammy Award winner said Friday in a message to fans through her OntheJLo newsletter.

She is heartsick about the state of our planet and mourns the razing of a former neighbor’s house, along with the giant shade tree beside it.

That year, she also released her own song, Reason to Stay, a warm and soulful introduction to her heartsick love ballads.
