Monsters, Inc. (2001) A member of an agency originally established to ensure no contaminants from human children accidentally cross over. The CDA sprang into action to aid Monsters, Incorporated in its time of crisis. |
The CDA Agents are characters from Monstropolis in Kingdom Hearts III. They originated in the Disney/Pixar film Monsters, Inc.
Story[edit]
Kingdom Hearts III[edit]
The CDA agents first appear as Sora, Donald, Goofy, Sulley, Mike, and Boo exit the Factory to find the Monstropolis Power Plant ablaze at the hands of the Unversed. A CDA helicopter flies overhead and, after an agent inside issues a code 72-16, dispatches some agents to douse the fires as Sora and company eliminate the Unversed. The helicopter continues to guide the group throughout the Power Plant as they aid the CDA agents in extinguishing the fire and fighting Unversed. After the fires are extinguished and the Lump of Horror is defeated, CDA agents can be found in the Tank Yard and Vault Passage.
Design[edit]
CDA Agents are completely covered by yellow hazmat suits, which can vary in design to accommodate for diverse body types. The suits universally include gray gloves, red-tinted face covers that seem to account for different amounts of eyes, pink shoes, a respirator, and tubes that extend out of the end and connect to a yellow backpack.
Personality[edit]
The CDA agents are focused on their job of decontamination and safety, arriving at the Power Plant shortly after the fire broke out. Although they are committed to their assignments, they are above being stubborn, as they allow Sora and company to assist in the mission upon realizing that they are best equipped to deal with the Unversed.
Origin[edit]
The CDA Agents ("Child Detection Agency") first appeared in the 2001 film Monsters, Inc.
