A very large glass of wine. And chocolate. Lots of chocolate.

But really....

It's my opinion that writer's block happens when I'm out of inspiration or burnt out. The best way of dealing with this is to relax. Take a break. Take a walk. Read a book. Watch a movie. Do a puzzle. Call your mom. Play tennis. In short, have fun NOT writing. Don't think about the book. Go on mental holiday from it. This might be terrifying. You may think that you'll NEVER return to the nasty problem that left you stumped, but you will. You'll find yourself rejuvenated and full of new, brilliant ideas when you're ready. It works. Give it a go.(less)

It was over Christmas and I was playing a time cherished board game with my older siblings, the Amazing Labyrinth. The quirky drawings and heated competition to find all my specific treasures (along with a large glass of wine) sent my mind alight with a new, grand adventure: a fun, exciting potion quest. (less)

Wow, that's really awesome! I'm not too great with reviews, but Unicorn Girl was definitely worth it! I'm more than honored that it means so much!

Thank you so much, Abigail! I am doing great, thank you. The manuscript for my next book got handed back to me from the editor yesterday! My fingers are crossed for a late this year/early next year publication.

I've also been meaning to tell you that a few days ago I let my dad read your review of Unicorn Girl. He was nearly in tears and stated that it was the best review in all of history.

Have a great Sunday!
