Susan Jameson

Susan I M Jameson (formerly Jamieson; born 13 August 1941) is an English actress. She is best known for her role leaving Myra Booth (formerly Dickinson) in the British soap opera Coronation Street, Esther Lane in the BBC crime drama series New Tricks and Mrs Wibbsey opposite Tom Baker in Doctor Who. She also played Jessie in the highly popular TV series “When the boat comes in” 8 January 1976 –21 April 1981. She is married to James Bolan who featured prominently in the same series - they also both appeared in the “New Tricks” series where she was cast as the wife (above) of Brian who was played by Alun Armstrong one of the 4 UCOS (Unsolved Crime and Open Case Squad of the Metropolitan Police Service) team along with other highly talented actors Amanda Redman and Dennis Waterman.
