represents an italic font slant.

Details

  • Style[expr,Italic] specifies that expr should be displayed with fonts italic.
  • Italic is effectively equivalent to FontSlant->Italic.
  • Italic can be negated using FontSlant->Plain.
  • Italic uses the italic version of fonts if these exist; otherwise it has no effect.
