tuck up (third-person singular simple present tucks up, present participle tucking up, simple past and past participle tucked up)

  1. (transitive) To pull the blankets or duvet up over (someone in bed); to put (someone) to bed.

  2. (intransitive) To pull the blankets or duvet up over oneself in bed.
  3. (transitive) To push the fabric at the bottom of a garment into itself or under another garment (especially trousers, skirt, dress etc.)
