I've finished the translation. The prose is a little stilted. I made a few stylistic improvements, but for the most part kept it pretty literal. I figure this translation from the German should just be regarded as a stopgap measure until the Spanish article can be translated. I'm surprised Gryffindor requested a translation of the German page rather than the Spanish. But maybe it's for the best - the Spanish article is so long that we might have to wait a long time for it to get translated. Worlingham (talk) 03:11, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
There was one phrase I wasn't sure about:[reply]
Die Habsburger gaben mehrere Bauwerke und Infrastrukturprojekte in Auftrag, die diese Macht und den Reichtum im öffentlichen Bereich repräsentieren sollte. ⇔ The Habsburgs commissioned a variety of buildings and infrastructure projects, in order to represent their power and wealth through their shaping of public space.I translated "öffentlichen Bereich" as "public space", but I'm not 100% confident about it.
