NSUBPOL
I think that we should start RfC for making WP:NSUBPOL as a notability guideline. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐭𝟕𝟐𝟖🧙♂️Let's Talk ! 04:42, 2 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @LordVoldemort728 thanks for inquiring and I do appreciate where this comment comes from. However, I do not such a proposal would succeed at this time (possibly never). The main problem is that there are many parts of it which are not settled (eg the ADCs in India, Kenya counties, UAE, smaller island states such as Micronesia, Tokelau), that is, there is a lack of consensus. It's going to take quite a long time for things to settle on so many different elements (more likely years, rather than months). The other issue is that this is meant to be a reference tool - it's meant to reflect both reliable sources on subnational parliaments and record community decisions, I'd say it's too specific and detailed to be a notability guideline. There's a lot more at WP:GUIDELINE which I think indicates why it would be very hard to get NSUBPOL accepted as a guideline. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 20:34, 4 April 2023 (UTC)

Question from Alumbi (13:06, 20 April 2023)
hey, im an artist i'd like to create my artist page on wikipedia.please advice how --Alumbi (talk) 13:06, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Alumbi - generally wikipedia does not apporve of the creation of material related to oneself, essentially you have a conflict of interest, you can request a page here. However, you need to be notable enough to warrant an article, which requires significant coverage in independent, reliable sources. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 06:50, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

Black Monday 87, Market forces section
Hi Goldsztajn. I've never seen a talk page that automatically opened up a new topic when you click the link… three years ago you commented on the Black Monday article. Thanks! I've added a working first draft of a major rewrite of the "Market forces" section of the article, based on your comments. It needs polishing and a few more cites. If you have time, could you look and comment? If you do, please read closely and carefully; I plan tot take it to FAC soonish.... [And yes I plan to add a bit more at the end of the article about how Black Monday killed the Louvre agreement, but that will only be one or two sentences.]Thanks again, § Lingzhi (talk) 18:07, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
- Update: While you were away, I put it in FAC. § Lingzhi (talk) 13:21, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Lingzhi.Renascence - thanks for the heads up, been offline for a little while, will have a look. Kind regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 06:44, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

Noms
Hi there @Goldsztajn! Hope you have been well. After you so kindly and earnestly helped me promote Dietrich v the Queen to GA status (it is up for FAC here btw if you wish to comment further), you stated you would be happy to work on a GA nom again.
Just letting you know, I currently have:
Up for nomination at GA. If you are up for it, would love to work with you again.
Thanks and take care, MC MaxnaCarta (talk) 07:02, 24 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @MaxnaCarta - I've been well, although somewhat busy in the non-virtual world of late; hope you are well, too. Thanks for the heads up regarding the nominations. Two are related to personal interests of mine (unions, industrial relations) and the CFFMEU one I commented on earlier... I'll have some free time after the first week of May and will get to at least one of them (if not already taken by then). Kind regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 21:08, 26 April 2023 (UTC)
- Glad to hear you are doing well @Goldsztajn. No rush at all. Look forward to working with you once you have some time! Chat soon. MaxnaCarta (talk) 23:51, 26 April 2023 (UTC)
