Speedy deletion nomination of Jaakko Juuti
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Jaakko Juuti requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. - MrX 15:14, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
The article Jaakko Juuti has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. -- Patchy1 REF THIS BLP

International apps for Niko Hämäläinen
[edit]Hi,
You referenced this to say Niko Hamalainen hasn't played for the Finland under-19s, but at the bottom of that page, it says hat he played two games for them, against Italy and Macedonia. (If I'm reading it wrong though, please tell me, as I don't speak Finnish) Thanks Jjamesryan (talk) 00:12, 10 November 2015 (UTC)
- All matches listed on the page have been played by the under-18 national team (born 1.1.1997 or later), Hämäläinen hasn't appeared for the under-19 national team (born 1.1.1996 or later). The naming convention is that the second half of the calendar year the under-15 through under-19 national teams go by the age grade they will be next year. The official yearbooks published by the FA don't make distinctions between the matches and instead are represented in the book as "U18/U19 matches", for example. Considering them as actual under-19 national team matches would cause a misrepresentation, as the actual under-19 national team has played two matches against Azerbaijan this year. Fmurto (talk) 17:43, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
- Ah, okay. Nonetheless, the page indicates that he played 14 games for u18/19s, not 12. Jjamesryan (talk) 03:58, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
- The first match of the year was played against a select team of Moscow-based youth players and isn't counted as an official match. Hämäläinen also didn't appear at the Baltic Cup and wasn't included in the line-up against England on 13 October, so by my count that's 12. Please let me know if I've made a mistake, I try to keep a record of these matches for myself. Fmurto (talk) 12:30, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
