[edit]GEP was founded in 1999 by Subhash Makhija, Roopa Gandhi, Jagadish Turimella, and Neha Shah.[1]
Since the early 2010s, the company publishes annual detailed reports on macroeconomic trends and technological developments in procurement and supply chain management.[12]
GEP was first included in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Procure-to-Pay Suites List as a Leader since 2013.[13][14]
In 2020, the company saw a 300% more usage in its software due to Covid-19’s impact on the supply chain of many companies.[15] GEP execs have provided the press insights and predictions related to the Covid-19.[16][17][18][19]

Products
[edit]GEP SMART was launched in 2013 and is a cloud-based procurement management software built on the Microsoft Azure platform.[28][29] It has been named a Top 10 procurement management software by several industry sources.[30][25]
GEP NEXXE is a supply chain management software.[15][31]
