[edit]Google score (2 710 results), Osun Gov.[1] and National Assembly, Federal Republic of Nigeria[2] are saying Yusuf Sulaimon Lasun. The former Wikipedia spelling 'Sulaimon Lasun Yussuff' had a Google score of 40. Pldx1 (talk) 16:29, 28 April 2016 (UTC)

- @Pldx1: That's fine to justify your move away from the previous title, but why did you choose this spelling specifically? The sources currently cited in this article spell his name a total of seven different ways (including three variations that don't include any "middle" name). I agree that the current title is probably better than the previous one, but the previous one was not unattested, and there seems to be no agreement as to how to spell this person's name in English, so an RM probably would have been preferable to a unilateral move. While the official gov sources you cite are good, they don't necessarily justify inclusion of "Sulaimon" as they both deliberately list his full name (indeed, they both also preface his name with "Hon", so mirroring them exactly would be an MOS-violation). Citing Google is not the end of the world, but Google gives four times as many hits for "Yusuf Lasun" as the current title.
- Propose establishing which of the numerous variations is the best and opening an RM.
