Controversy
[edit]In 2006 he turned down the chance of producing McFly (band)'s album.
why is this controversial? Or am I missing the point of controversy?
This whole thing needs cleaned up. The quotes need fixed too.86.135.57.87 19:56, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
I removed this because although mildly humourous, it's not actually factual!
[edit]Once while on holiday in Greece, Ryan fell down a sewer and had to be extracted by a local who had a reinforced fishing net. Although he has since claimed that this traumatic experience hasn't affected him, it was soon after this happened that he developed his much-reported addiction to Scratch Cards and Schlöer (non-alcoholic perry). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.131.123.123 (talk) 13:31, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Personal Life
[edit]I've just removed a sentence or two in the controversy section about RJ's supposed love life with Kate Nash. The grammar and punctuation was awful, and although this has been reported in tabloids and the music press, I don't think it's worth adding to this article until it's well-written and referenced. Ryan appeared on the 22/11/07 episode of Never Mind The Buzzocks and confirmed he is dating Kate Nash.134.219.200.128 (talk) 12:04, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
General Standard
[edit]I pruned the article quite a bit, removing that shizz about the serivette factory- may well be true, but is unsourced. Also toned down the article's tone, to make it less "wacky". Added some bits to the controversy section, and will source them at a later date when I'm not at work. Canislupisbarca 13:44, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
RE: General Standard
[edit]Hey there Canislupisbarca.....regarding the ridiculous serviette factory bit- there IS in fact an interview that took place in Vancouver, Canada where Ryan mentions, "ahh...we can taste the paper and tell what part of the world it's from..." when asked by the interviewer. The name of the interviewer is Nardwuar the Human Serviette, hence his excitement over this weird fact. I dunno it could be true since Ryan is so random! or maybe he's just being Ryan. Check it out on youtube: "Nardwuar vs. Alex from Franz Ferdinand vs. The Cribs pt. 2" Do what you will with this. - Ivana-
