Military Police (Russia) → Russian Military Police – This seems to be the name used by a majority of English language sources. An anonymous username, not my real name 03:02, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose per WP:CONSISTENT. Most articles on military police are either "Military Police (Country)" or "Military Police of Country". The possessive form is not really used in any of them. Or put another way, "Russian" is a nationality/ethnicity, whereas "Russia" is a state, and this is clearly a state institution. Walrasiad (talk) 07:29, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You make a valid point about consistency, although to say that "Russian" is only a nationality/ethnicity is false; see Russian Armed Forces. My argument stems from the fact that "Military Police" (the two words alone) is neither the translation of the Russian name nor a name used by English sources. To follow this and maintain consistency, then I would then at least argue for "Military Police of Russia". An anonymous username, not my real name 16:23, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
