[edit]What? No mention of the looming presence of heroin in the band's downfall?

Fair use rationale for Image:Marion band pic.jpg
[edit]Image:Marion band pic.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Potential conflict of interest
[edit]User @JaimeHarding: may have personal links to this article, this could lead to a conflict of interest, for more information see WP:COS. Jonpatterns (talk) 17:36, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
Removal of referenced material and adding of puffery
[edit]@VickiLeeBradley: has wiped the original article and inserted an 'official biography'. This has removed referenced material, removed ref tag and added puffery to the language, see diff
Although, some improvements and non inline references were included, I suggest the best way forward is to restore the neutral article and incorporate the useful additions. For further information see policies - reliable source and puffery (conflict of interest may also be applicable). Jonpatterns (talk) 17:27, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
In reply to the statements above, @Jonpatterns: had actually wiped the whole page and replaced with his own version, which included several pieces of incorrect information, in part re-writing the group's history with false information. The version I have replaced it with is fully correct in detail and covers all aspects of the group's career right up to present day. I fail to see why anyone would object to the current version, unless they are purposely attempting to spread incorrect information.
If you are not a fan of the group, then please kindly refrain from visiting/editing this page. The current version can be referenced from the group's official website www.marionthegroup.com - I hope this can be the end of the matter, I do not wish to take part in some kind of Wiki-War and I expect you have better things to make use of your time as well. - @VickiLeeBradley: if you look at the history, the original article was wiped by @JaimeHarding: see diff. Wikipedia requires secondary sources for notability and accuracy, see reliable source.
- Wikipedia also requires neutrality, the band's website may inaccurately portray the band with positive bias. That is another reason why other sources are needed - which VickiLeeBradley removed. Neutral language is also required, again see puffery. Jonpatterns (talk) 18:25, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
I think it's worth pointing out that Vicki Lee Bradley is Jamie Harding's girlfriend, so another conflict of interest issue.

This user continues to disrupt the page, to remove referenced info and reinstate false information originally edited into the article by user JaimeHarding - ie, the singer in the band.

- In response to this last comment by an anonymous user (why are you hiding?!) I have only ever added CORRECT news and information to this page. You claim that I "disrupt" the page and have a "conflict of interest", I suggest that you are referring to yourself, who exactly are you and for what reason do you want to write negative things about people and also add INCORRECT information to the page. I suggest that you have a conflict of interest, and are trolling this page. That said, I do not wish to continue this Wikiwar, so I welcome a user such as user:Jonpatterns to restore harmony! Is there anything in the article being deputed? Both IP accounts have been used solely for editing Marion and related articles, see Special:Contributions/2.98.135.181 and Special:Contributions/2.97.95.125. Jonpatterns (talk) 09:34, 24 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi Jon, I'm happy with the current version which is a mixture of everything that's been contributed and includes correct lineup information etc. Thanks for your assistance with this, I don't think there's any need for drama, my only intention is to make sure that the page is accurate and up to date with correct news and lineup information. Best, Vicki VickiLeeBradley (talk) 11:37, 24 September 2015 (UTC)
