[edit]
An image used in this article, File:Baku pic.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Bid leadership/ bid committee

[edit]

There seems to have been some changes in the infobox in regard to who is leading the bid. It has a chairman and a CEO. Would it be necessary for a small section on the bid leadership in this article?--MusicGeek101 (talk) 16:11, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Olympic Stadium picture

[edit]

can someone explain why a picture of the olympic stadium can not be used in this article? The picture exists on the page for the Baku Olympic Stadium as well as the page on the Azerbaijan national football team. --MusicGeek101 (talk) 17:18, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Because there is not a rational for the page. It has a rationale for the Baku Olympic Stadium, not the Azerbaijan national football team (so I have removed it there as well).

Is there any way a picture of the stadium can be uploaded that we can use on this page? just curious. --MusicGeek101 (talk) 15:21, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
