Changed text to "extermination of the male descendants of David as a divine retribution for the extermination of the priests by Saul", rather than David. Even then this section may well be checked. JMK (talk) 19:22, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No, it was meant to be "David"; see his deceit at the start of chapter 21 (verse numbers vary between Jewish and Christian bibles) and remorse in 22:22. I've tried to clarify this. – Fayenatic(talk)22:57, 17 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
