Bourghelles (French pronunciation: [buʁɡɛl]) is a commune in the Nord department in northern France.[3]

Etymology

First recorded in 1197 as Borghela (small fortress); ultimately from Proto-Germanic *burgs (hill fort, fortress) and diminutive suffix.[4]
