- 本頁以列表形式介紹香港境內已落成並現時由懲教署管理，以及已結束運作的懲教設施，包括監獄、懲教所、收押所、戒毒所、精神病治療中心、更生中心、中途宿舍及公立醫院羈留病房。截至2023年1月為止，香港共有29間運作中的懲教設施，提供11,482個收容額。此列表以地區劃分，除「已結束運作」章節以結束年份順序外，其餘章節排名不分先後。 香港的懲教服務始於香港開埠初期的域多利監獄。它在1841年以「中央監獄」之名在中區啟用，其後犯人數目上升，監獄逐漸不敷應用，香港政府於是多次擴建之，亦購置舊船並改裝成為海上監獄，甚至計劃在昂船洲建立另一間監獄，惟始終未能實現，而上述囚船也後來停止運作。直到1932年荔枝角監獄和1937年赤柱監獄的落成，才能舒緩長久以來域多利監獄人滿為患的問題，而這兩間監獄跟前者一同成為二戰前香港三大監獄。而在香港重光後，港府除了重啟因戰爭而遭破壞或改裝的監獄外，亦陸續在香港各地開設不同的懲教設施，以應付日後需求，例如1953年的首間教導所「赤柱教導所」（馬坑監獄的前身）、1968年的首間中途宿舍「新生之家」（今被併入紫荊樓）、1969年的首間戒毒所「大欖戒毒所」（今改為大欖懲教所）、1972年的首間勞役中心「沙咀勞役中心」（即沙咀懲教所）、2002年首間更生中心勵志更生中心等。另外，因應香港越南船民問題，懲教署曾經在一些地方開設羈留中心，亦一度成立難民組及增聘相關臨時職員。時至今日，赤柱監獄仍然運作，荔枝角監獄被改為荔枝角收押所，而域多利監獄已於2018年被活化成為大館的一部分。 根據懲教署資料，在2021年12月31日，全港共有7,867名在囚人士。他們在被判監禁時，署方會先根據犯人自身的性別、年齡和保安類別，來決定將來會入住的懲教院所。現時全港共有14間低度設防、4間中度設防、6間高度設防院所；另有3間中途宿舍及兩間在公立醫院開設的羈留病房，分別收容獲釋後需要過渡住宿的釋囚，及需要特別治療或做手術的犯人。 (zh)
