- Der Aftokinitodromos 9 (griechisch Αυτοκινητόδρομος 9 ‚Autobahn 9‘) war eine griechische Autobahn und wurde durch Festlegung der griechischen Regierung im Januar 2008 zum südlichen Teilstück der Autobahn 5. Eine Autobahn mit der Nummerierung A9 existiert demzufolge derzeit nicht mehr. Allerdings dürften noch viele Verkehrsschilder und Karten die alte Nummerierung tragen. (de)
- Ο Αυτοκινητόδρομος 8 (Α8) ή Ολυμπία οδός ή Αυτοκινητόδρομος Αθήνα-Πάτρα, είναι ένας αυτοκινητόδρομος που διέρχεται από τη βόρεια Πελοπόννησο και την Αττική. Ξεκινάει από την Ελευσίνα και καταλήγει στο Ρίο της Πάτρας, όπου ενώνεται με τον Αυτοκινητόδρομο 5. Αποτελεί τμήμα της Ευρωπαϊκής Οδού 94 από τα διόδια της Μάνδρας μέχρι τον κόμβο Τρίπολης και από εκεί, μέχρι τη σύνδεσή της με τον Α5, αποτελεί τμήμα της Ευρωπαϊκής Οδού 65. Πρόκειται για την αναβαθμισμένη Νέα Εθνική Οδό Αθηνών-Πατρών (8α). Το τμήμα Ελευσίνα-Κόρινθος μετατράπηκε σε αυτοκινητόδρομο την δεκαετία του 1990, εκτός από τις σήραγγες στην Κακιά Σκάλα που παραδόθηκαν στην κυκλοφορία αργότερα: ο κλάδος Αθήνα προς Πάτρα το 2004 και ο κλάδος Κόρινθος προς Αθήνα το 2006. Η ανακατασκευή του τμήματος Κόρινθος-Πάτρα και η αναβάθμιση του σε αυτοκινητόδρομο με δύο λωρίδες ανά κατεύθυνση και Λ.Ε.Α. ξεκίνησε το 2008, σταμάτησε το 2010-2011 λόγω προβλημάτων με την χρηματοδότηση και επανεκκίνησε το 2013. Η αποπεράτωση του λειτουργικού μέρους πραγματοποιήθηκε τον Απρίλιο του 2017, ενώ οι πρόσθετες εργασίες (κόμβοι, χώροι στάθμευσης κλπ.) ολοκληρώθηκαν μέσα στο καλοκαίρι του 2017. (el)
- Olympia Odos is a toll motorway system on the Peloponnese in Greece. Starting from Eleusis in the Athens metropolitan area, the Olympia Odos motorways follow the Gulf of Corinth to the Rio–Antirrio bridge and the city of Patras, and along the Ionian Sea coastline, in future down to Tsakona (near Meligalas) in the southwestern Peloponnese where it will intersect with the Moreas Motorway. Olympia Odos consists of two highways:
* The A8 motorway (Athens – Patras), constructed in 1962–1973 as National Road 8α. During the 1990s the Elefsina – Corinth section was upgraded to motorway standards. The Corinth – Patras upgrade to motorway standards was completed in April 2017.
* The Patras – Pyrgos motorway, designated as motorway A5, which passes by the namesake ancient city of Olympia. This motorway is currently under construction. The 210 km (130 mi) motorway is a toll-road linking Athens to Patras and, in the future, will extend a further 163 km to Tsakona in the south-west of the Peloponnese. (en)
