- „Indivirus “ (IndV , auch ILV) ist eine vorgeschlagene Gattung von Riesenviren im Phylum Nucleocytoviricota (früher Nucleocytoplasmic large DNA viruses, NCLDV), Familie Mimiviridae mit nur einer Spezies, „Indivirus ILV1“.Wie alle diese Riesenviren haben sie ein Genom aus einer doppelsträngigen DNA (dsDNA). Die Gattung wurde bei der Analyse von Metagenomproben aus Bodensedimenten von Ablagerungen in der Kläranlage in Klosterneuburg nahe bei Wien, Österreich, gefunden. Zusammen mit „Indivirus“ wurden dort von Schulz et al. 2017 drei weitere Virusgattungen identifiziert, „Klosneuvirus“, „Catovirus“ und „Hokovirus“, die allesamt als Klosneuviren (vorgeschlagene Unterfamilie „Klosneuvirinae“) bezeichnet werden. - Indivirus (IndV) is a genus of giant double-stranded DNA-containing viruses (NCLDV). This genus was detected during the analysis of metagenome samples of bottom sediments of reservoirs at the wastewater treatment plant in Klosterneuburg, Austria. New Klosneuvirus (KNV), Hokovirus and Catovirus genera (all found in these sewage waters) were also described together with Indivirus, building up a putative virus subfamily (Klosneuviruses) with KNV as type genus.Indivirus has a genome of 0.86 million base pairs (660 gene families). This is the smallest genome among Klosneuviruses as mentioned above. GC content is 26.6 %Classification of metagenome, made by analyzing 18S rRNA indicate that their hosts are relate to the simple Cercozoa. Phylogenetic tree topology of Mimiviridae is still under discussion. Some authors (CNS 2018) like to put Klosneuviruses together with Cafeteria roenbergensis virus (CroV) and Bodo saltans virus (BsV) into a tentative subfamily called Aquavirinae. Another proposal is to put them all together with Mimiviruses into a subfamily Megavirinae. (en)

Виявлений під час аналізу метагеноми зразків донних відкладень резервуарів станції очистки стічних вод у місті Клостернойбург в Австрії. Вірус має геном з 860 тис. пар основ та кодується 660 генів. Вміст GC складає 26,6%. Разом з Indivirus, у цих стічних водах описані також нові віруси Klosneuvirus, Catovirus та Hokovirus. Класифікація метагенома, що зроблена за допомогою аналізу 18S рРНК, що їхні господарі відносяться до найпростіших типу Cercozoa. (uk)
