- Els ad-Dawàssir (àrab: الدواسر, ad-Dawāsir), en singular ad-Dussarí (àrab: الدوسري, ad-Dūsarī), són una tribu del centre de l'Aràbia Saudita, oriünda històricament del sud del Najd, al Wadi d-Dawàssir, al segle xiv, i després emigrada més al nord i est. (ca)
- الدواسر هي قبيلة عربية قاعدتها الأساسية في جنوب نجد في محافظات وادي الدواسر والسليل الأفلاج والخرج. تنقسم القبيلة إلى جذمين هما «آل زايد» و«تغلب»، وينقسم آل زايد إلى عمارتين هما «آل سالم» وهم (الوداعين والرجبان والمخاريم والبدارين) و«آل صهيب» وهم (آل حسن والغييثات والحراجين والشرافا وآل جري)، وينقسم آل تغلب إلى عمارتين وهم «آل محمد» وهم (العمور والخييلات) و«آل علي» وهم (الحقبان والمصارير والمشاوية). تجمع قبيلة الدواسر بين الحضارة والبداوة، فهم بدو من ناحية يملكون الإبل والماشية ويعطون البداوة حقها، وحاضرة من ناحية أخرى لهم النخيل والمدن والمزارع، وبلادهم من أخصب شبه الجزيرة العربية وأكثرها مياها. - Dawasir (Arabic: الدواسر, sing. الدوسري al-Dawsari) is one of the largest Arabian bedouin tribal confederation that was formed between South Arabian tribes and Taghlib tribe in central ArabiaThe tribe gave its name to the famous valley in Najd or specifically the town of Wadi al-Dawasir (The Valley of Al-Dawasir) which had a population of 106,152 in 2010 and is divided into two main neighborhoods: al-Nawaima and al-Khamaseen, and spread in various parts of the Middle East. - Gli al-Dawāsir (in arabo: الدواسر) furono un gruppo tribale arabo, che si pensava fosse emigrato nella Penisola arabica dallo Yemen nell'anno 250. I Dawāsir sarebbero provenuti dalla città di Ma'rib, capitale dei Sabei in seguito a un'inondazione che avrebbe spazzato via la diga, e della quale parlerebbe anche il Corano. L'episodio avrebbe dato origine al modo di dire "Si dispersero come il popolo di Saba" e si riferisce a quest'esodo storico. (it)
