David Quirke (born 11 July 1970) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a centre-back for the Cork senior team. Born in Midleton, County Cork, Quirke first played competitive hurling during his schooling at Midleton CBS Secondary School. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Cork minor team before later joining the under-21 side. He made his senior debut during the 1990 championship. Quirke went on to become a regular member of the team for a number of years, winning one All-Ireland medal and one Munster medal.
