- Sold by Griggs of Vinheim for 3,000 souls, provided that the player has 10 Intelligence or higher.
- Sold by Big Hat Logan for 3,000 souls, initially with a 15 Intelligence requirement but removes this after the player rescues him the second time.

Magic Weapon may only be used on enchantable weapons, which are those that are upgraded down the Standard, Raw, or Crystal paths, as well as a limited amount of exceptions.
Magic Weapon is a weapon augmentation, temporarily adding Magic Damage to the right hand weapon. It adds a flat amount of magic attack power to the weapon equal to 0.8 times the catalyst's magic adjust It becomes inferior once other augmentation sorceries are acquired.
