[edit]Hi. Was heißt im allgemeinen dieser "City Pillar Shrine" auf Thai? Habe hier sowas gefunden. เสาอินทขิล. Gruß aus Cottbus.-- DerFussi 11:30, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
- Hi too. I couldn't resist answering this. :) They're called lak mueang (หลักเมือง), which literally translates to "City pillar". Apparently, a city pillar shrine would be chao pho lak mueang (see http://www.thai-language.com/id/202849). Inthakin (literally "Indra's staff") is the name of the lak mueang of Chiang Mai. - Takeaway (talk) 11:34, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the explanation. -- DerFussi 12:25, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
- You're welcome. I hope Hdamm is okay with me answering questions here...? ;-) By the way, I have been categorising all the uploads to Category:Images from Wiki Loves Earth 2015 in Thailand. There are some really beautiful photos of Thai national parks in there. Go have a look if you haven't seen it yet. Cheers. - Takeaway (talk) 12:30, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
- @Takeaway: Thanks Takeaway for answering. I do not have any problems with it :-)
