Creates a formatted list of links to species categories.
For nothospecies, simply add rank=nothospecies.
For virus species (that are not displayed in the form G. species), prefer {{Taxa|vira|.
Use {{Genera}} if you have less than 300 names.
Note: if you want to edit this template, first try your modifications on {{Species2/sandbox}}.You can then test your edits in {{Species2/testcases}}.
When the new version is ready, you can move it to the main template.

Note: prefixing a name with "†" will add the symbol before it to designate it as extinct.
Syntax

The genus name is split in two: the first letter in uppercase is passed as first parameter. The other letters in lowercase are passed as second parameter.
