About Me

After starting his career as a graphic designer at award-winning studios in the Northeast (USA), Chris Piascik accidentally stumbled into illustration. This unexpected career twist was fueled by a 14-year daily drawing project, which became a cornerstone of his success. Chris has always been obsessed with drawing, using it as a means to build confidence as a child and express his unique humor. His early fascination with album art, and a pivotal high school pep talk kept him on the creative path, despite doubts and challenges.

Chris’s journey includes a variety of roles, from corporate branding to design for the music industry, but it was his commitment to daily drawings that truly set him apart. His quirky illustrations caught the eye of major clients like Nike, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network, and his work has been featured on everything from McDonald’s bags to Facebook sticker sets.

In addition to drawing an awful lot, Chris is also a SkillShare Top Teacher and a budding YouTuber, sharing his insights and humor with a growing audience. Despite his ADHD, or maybe because of it, Chris continues to find innovative ways to trick himself into productivity and creativity. When he’s not drawing, you might find him racing around a track in his car, skating, or crafting animated GIFs that somehow became a lucrative part of his career.
