Soukaku Overview

In addition to being a member of Section 6, she is considered one of its valuable “assets.” Her enemies often meet a mysterious fate when they underestimate her abilities. She has a great love for food and becomes upset when she witnesses others wasting it. Absolutely.

Soukaku Special Attack

Soukaku’s weapon gains Vortex upon using the following attacks:

EX Special Attack — one stack of Vortex.
Chain Attack — one stack of Vortex.
Ultimate — three stacks of Vortex.
Vortex stacks up to three times.

Hold to Fly the Flag.
Plunging her weapon into the ground morphs it into a flag, and when Fly the Flag hits an enemy, it triggers an Reactive Assist.

If Soukaku has 3 stacks of Vortex on using Fly the Flag, all stacks of Vortex are consumed to enter the Frosted Banner state.

The Frosted Banner state lasts for up to 45s, during which Soukaku can use up to 6 Basic Attacks or Dash Attacks. The state will end when all 6 uses have been spent.
Press or after a Fly the Flag attack to launch a special attack retracting the flag, dealing Ice damage.

Soukaku Best W-Engine

Soukaku Best W-Engine Explanation

Soukaku’s W-Engine Recommendations

  • Top Recommendation:

    • Bashful Demon: This is Soukaku’s signature W-engine. Increases Ice DMG by 24%. When launching an EX Special Attack, all squad members’ ATK increases by 3.2% for 12s, stacking up to 4 times. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.
  • Alternative Choice:

    • Slice of Time: Provides benefits such as increasing Decibel acquisition and restoring Soukaku’s energy, serving as a viable alternative.
  • Early Game Transitional Options:

    • [Reverb] Mark I and [Reverb] Mark II: These can be used as transitional choices during the early game stage.

Soukaku Best Disk Drives Explanation

Disk Drives Recommendations for Soukaku

  • Top Choice:

    • 4 pcs Freedom: Reduces enemy Anomaly Buildup RES, particularly effective in Ice Teams to increase the rate of freezing enemies.
  • Additional Options for Remaining Slots:

    • Shockstar Disco: Increases Impact to aid in Dazing enemies.
    • Polar Metal: Another viable option for enhancing Soukaku’s capabilities.

Main Stats and Sub-Stats Recommendations

  • Main Stats:

    • Slot 4: Anomaly Proficiency (AP) to boost Anomaly DMG.
    • Slot 5: HP% or DEF% for survivability.
    • Slot 6: Energy Regen (ER) to maximize Ex Special usage frequency.
  • Sub-Stats:

    • Prioritize AP, HP%, and DEF% to complement the main stats effectively.

Soukaku Team

Soukaku Best Team – Ice Attributes Team

Soukaku Ice Attributes Team Explanation

Core Pair:

  • Ellen and Soukaku: This duo forms a definite core pair for the team.

Stun-Role Agent:

  • Lycaon: Acts as the Stun-role during the Damage period. Lycaon can be replaced by other Stun-role agents as transitional options at the beginning.

Bangboo Choice:

  • Sharkboo: The team’s first priority as it boosts Ellen’s Energy Regen.
  • Penguinboo: The second choice if Sharkboo is not available.

Soukaku’s Unique Buff:

  • Frost Banner: Soukaku’s unique buff.
  • Fly the Flag: When Soukaku transitions to “Fly the Flag,” she gains a boost in Attack and Ice DMG. When “Fly the Flag” hits an enemy, Reactive Assist is triggered unconditionally. If the next agent is switched in under Reactive Assist, the Attack and Ice DMG buff transfers to the next agent, which in this case is Ellen.

Tankiness Consideration:

  • Lycaon or Other Stun-role Agents: Ellen and Soukaku are not very tanky, so it’s advised to have Lycaon or another Stun-role agent like Koleda to be the attacker outside the Daze period.

Rotation Summary:

  • Lycaon: Build up the Daze period.
  • Soukaku: Switch to Soukaku for damage buff when the Daze period is almost built up.
  • Ellen: During the Daze period, switch to Ellen to burst damage.
