Rusty Halberds are Items in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Hyrule Compendium Entry
Rusty Halberds are Weapons that can be found in the Great Hyrule Forest and Hyrule Field, particularly around ruins. They were potentially used by Knights of Hyrule, before they deteriorated due to exposure to the elements.[1] Because of their rusted nature, they have a very low durability.[1]
Rock Octoroks will inhale Rusty Halberds that are placed in front of them, spitting out a cleaned counterpart.[2] The Item has a 50% chance to be a Traveler's Spear, a 35% chance to be a Soldier's Spear, a 10% chance to be a Knight's Halberd, and a 5% chance to be a Royal Halberd.
Being made of metal, Rusty Halberds will attract Lightning during Thunderstorms and conduct Electricity. However, they are unable to burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate, and they will sink if they are dropped in Water. Finally, Rusty Halberds can be manipulated using the Magnesis Rune.
Rusty Halberds are part of the archetype of equipment known as Rusty Gear, which is a group of deteriorated Weapons with low durability.[2]
