The Quarreling Brothers are two boys from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Although one is older than the other (and it is never specified how much older), they both look exactly the same. It is always the older brother's room that Link enters into. For reasons unknown, the older brother sealed the door to his younger brother's room. This is what the older one tells Link if he talks to him while the door is still sealed. Link can, however, open the doorway, by setting a bomb. If Link talks to that brother again, he asks if the doorway is open again and considers making up with his younger brother. Once Link gets through, that brother asks Link if he came from his older brother's room, and for a second question, if he is still angry. It is from exiting the younger brother's room that there is a race, and it is possible that the Race Woman who announces the race and the Race Man who gives the reward (a piece of heart in this case) to Link if he gets there in up to 15 seconds, are the boys' parents.
