Passengers are a mechanic in Spirit Tracks.[1] It refers to Link's ability to transport certain people from Station to Station in the Passenger Car of the Spirit Train.
Overview[]
Carben is the only mandatory passenger on the Spirit Train. Other passengers can be taken on at later times for sidequests and rewards, such as Rupees and Force Gems
Game Over Dialogue[]
Should the Spirit Train collide with a Dark Train/Armored Train or run out of hearts without the passenger getting dissatisfied and disembarking, they will be the one to cry out/make a remark as the train combusts instead of Zelda.
- "YeeeeeeeeeOOOOW!" - Dovok
- "Wh-whoa there!" - Mona
- "Pr-Princess! Oh, wait... no." - Teacher
- "Waaaah! I want my mom!" - Joe
- "You drive like a maniac! A maniac, I tell you!" - Noko
- "Bwah! Watch it, you knucklehead!" - Kenzo
- "Whoooaa!" - Ferrus
- "Gaaaah!" - Goron bound for Anouki Village
- "Ayiii!" - Goron Child
- "Are you TRYING to crash this train?" - Kofu
- "Aaaaaaaaaaugh!" - Wadatsumi
Trivia[]
- Kofu's line upon crashing seems unfitting for the context, as it implies that Link is driving recklessly, yet has not yet crashed the train. His line for when his satisfaction decreases by a level due to reckless driving ("AUGH! This is just awful!") seems more fitting for Link crashing, implying that the two lines were written for the opposite scenarios, but erroneously swapped in development.
