Oshus's Sword is an item in Phantom Hourglass.[1][note 1] It is the first Sword obtained by Link.[2]
Location and Uses[]
Oshus's Sword is found inside a Treasure Chest in Oshus' storehouse, which can be opened using the correct password. Ciela tells Link that the password she has seen Oshus use is the number of palm trees found on the beach of Mercay Island. The Sword is nearly identical to the Hero's Sword from The Wind Waker, except with a blue pommel and a slightly longer blade.
Oshus's Sword is somewhat weak, like all first Swords acquired in The Legend of Zelda series. However, it has power enough to get Link through most of his adventure. The young hero can power up this Sword more by collecting Power Gems and then sailing to Spirit Island to put them to use on the power Fairy.
