Meditative Training is a mechanic in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]

Overview[]

Meditative Training is a side quest that can be accomplished in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and a place where Link and all the other characters can practice their fighting skills.

Side Quest[]

The side quest for Meditative Training, "Relief for Soldier Stress" requires three Hyrule Herbs to be brought to the Sage Temple. Once this side quest is accomplished, Link and his friends have access to Meditative Training.

Description of Meditative Training[]

Once Meditative Training is unlocked, Link and his allies can always go there. Meditative Training is a place for Link and his allies to practice fighting, although nothing will be unlocked. They will find many Bokoblins and one Moblin. The monsters will respawn after they are defeated. However, the player cannot obtain items or level up in meditative training.

Unlike normal fighting, there are a few rules that would never be applied to fighting outside of Meditative Training. One is that the playable character's Special Attack will automatically become full in a few seconds, whether he or she is attacking or not.

The playable character will also take no damage from the monsters whatsoever, even though the sound of him or her being damaged will still be there. Because of this, he or she will not be able to use apples or baked apples to recover lost hearts.

Finally, the playable character can use an unlimited amount of rods. This means he or she can keep using the fire, ice, or electric rod to attack the monsters.
