Gloom's Approach is a Dungeon in Tears of the Kingdom.
Entrance to the Approach[]
Gloom's Approach is the final area leading to Ganondorf and is located in The Depths. Its original purpose was to serve as a pathway to the Imprisoning Chamber where Ganondorf was originally sealed.

Compared to the other dungeons in Tears of the Kingdom, Gloom's Approach is almost entirely linear in design. It is divided up into several sections, a few of which were visited by Link and Zelda during the prologue.
Gloom's Approach[]
A cave in The Depths that can only be accessed via the Hyrule Castle Chasm.
Forgotten Foundation[]
These ruins contain ancient murals on the walls that depict the events leading up to the Imprisoning War.
Imprisoning Chamber[]
This large chamber originally served as the prison in which Ganondorf was sealed by King Rauru. It now contains a large chasm that leads down into Gloom's Lair.
