Growler is a character in The Minish Cap.[1]
Biography[]
Growler is a Canine that can be seen roaming around in Hyrule Town. After Link obtains the Kinstone Bag from the Hurdy-Gurdy Man, Growler can be found blocking a staircase leading to the southwestern part of Hyrule Town, right next to Dr. Left's House.
After Link obtains the White Sword and can become Minish-sized within Hyrule Town, he can cross the short bridge near the Carpenters Shop and speak to Growler, who apologizes for blocking Link's path and moves, giving him access to the southwestern portion of Hyrule Town.[2]
If spoken to afterwards, he will wonder why no one else ever asked him to move.[3] He will also comment on the unnamed Hylian man that is near the Figurine Gallery.[4] Once Link obtains the Four Sword, Growler disappears and does not appear for the remainder of the game.
While Minish-sized, Growler is one of the potential characters to have a random Kinstone Fusion available.[5]
