The Exploding Crossbow is an ability used by the Crossbow in Link's Crossbow Training.[1]
Overview[]
The Exploding Crossbow is an ability that Link can use, where he charges up a shot and fires an Exploding Arrow.[1] The Exploding Arrow launched will instantly kill most Enemies (excluding Darknut and Fossil Stallord), and will instantly destroy any Objects and Targets in a small radius near the blast.[2] Any Targets destroyed by the Exploding Arrow will give the lowest number of points offered by the target. In order to charge the Exploding Crossbow, a regular Arrow must first be fired from the Crossbow and the B Button should be held in. After around two seconds, the Exploding Arrow will be fully charged and ready to fire. Releasing the B Button will fire the Exploding Arrow.[1]

Exploding arrows can take out a lot of enemies in a single shot. When you have many enemies gathered in one area, take aim and blast the bunch of them. Be careful—you might accidentally hit a target that you don't want to." (Link's Crossbow Training manual, pg. 9) - ↑ "Tir chargé
