Fireballs are recurring objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][name reference needed][2] Fireballs go unnamed in Hyrule Warriors Legends.
Spinoff appearances[]
Zelda's Adventure[]
Fireballs in Zelda's Adventure are obstacles encountered in the Shrine of Fire. They function identically to Crystals, and spawn from sides of the room before launching at Zelda. Fireballs are stronger than Crystals, as they can inflict two Hearts of damage on Zelda, rather than just one.
Hyrule Warriors[]
Fireballs are Boss Attack Items obtained by defeating King Dodongo in Ganon's Fury.[3] They are effective against Argorok.[1] Fireballs are also used by King Dodongo and Ganon as Boss Attacks, which can be countered with Bombs.
Crossover appearances[]
Cadence of Hyrule[]
Octavo is capable of summoning three Fireballs as an attack. In Story Mode — Octavo, Octavo can find the Fireball Spell, which allows him to summon three Fireballs at the cost of his Stamina.[4] As he is the Future World counterpart of Octavo, The NecroDancer is also capable of summoning Fireballs to attack.
When Octavo finds the Fireball Spell, a Fate appears to chastise his foolish behavior.[5]
