Braced Shields are the third and final upgrade that can be done on a Wooden Shields. They are the upgraded version of Banded Shields. Braced Shields are twice as strong as Wooden Shields and 1.5 times as strong as Banded Shields. Braced Shields, like the lower two upgrades, are weak to Fire and will burn if exposed to Fire attacks for too long, or if Link falls into Lava while using it.
