A hybrid perturbation-Galerkin technique that combines multiple expansions. (English) Zbl 0717.65055
Some problems for second order ordinary differential equations (two-point boundary-value problem, eigenvalue problem, nonlinear free oscillation problem) are studied. A two-step hybrid method that combines perturbation and Galerkin methods is given.
