New kinds of multidimensional IFR distribution. (English) Zbl 0698.62098
Let f be a non-negative, strictly increasing function in \({\mathbb{R}}^ n_+\). The partial order in \({\mathbb{R}}^ n_+\) which is induced by f, is used for defining two kinds of multidimensional IFR distributions. Some closure properties under operations are proved, and an application to a multidimensional shock model is discussed.
