Summary: Computational aspects of buffer with Poisson arrivals and bulk geometric service are discussed. Results have been obtained for the limiting distribution of buffer occupancy and its moments in terms of roots of the characteristic equation which is of a transcendental type. Of the extensively tested results, only representative numerical results which give significant information have been included in the form of tables and graphs to demonstrate the method.
