Summary: The essence of the variable fuzzy assessment is a multi-model combination assessment. Based on the analysis of the variable fuzzy assessment method, for the shortfall of the variable fuzzy assessment method, a variable fuzzy assessment method considering the model weight is presented. Firstly, the synthesized relative membership degree of samples is calculated by the variable fuzzy assessment model. Then the weight of the models is calculated by improving the two element contrasting method based on the fuzzy entropy. Further, the composite rank feature value is obtained, and an assessment is made. Finally, a practical example of risk assessment of coal and gas outburst is given to show the effectiveness of the research in application. The results show that the improved method is feasible, effective and more objective.
