This paper presents a new method for forecasting long-term load of power systems using the Grey Dynamic Model (shortened to GM model). The GM model is a differential equation model which is different from most of the other forecasting models. The model has been tested by using yearly actual data of the other total demand. The results of five years ahead forecasts showed that the error is small, less than that of regression model method in most cases.
