Summary: We develop one kind of method for tracing a continuous curve of the solution in finite steps of the homotopy systems by the selfadaptive method and obtain the existence of a continuous solution, the determination of safe initial points, the test of regularity, and the stopping criterion, so that the algorithm can follow the curve efficiently. The numerical result shows that our algorithm is satisfactory.
