Homomorphisms and derivations on unital \(C^*\)-algebras related to Cauchy-Jensen functional inequality. (English) Zbl 1264.39024
Connected with the generalized Cauchy-Jensen functional inequality, the authors study homomorphisms from unital \(C^*\)-algebras to unital Banach algebras. Similar results are established for derivations from unital \(C^*\)-algebras to Banach modules. In the proofs, theorems by M. Eshaghi Gordji (to appear) are applied.
