Accurate analysis of two root algorithms on solving quartic equation. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 1225.65050
Summary: Two algorithms on solving quartic equation are introduced, and their accuracies and stabilities in numerical computation are analyzed in this paper. The results show that the first algorithm is more accurate and more stable and is worth to recommend in numerical computation.
