Summary: In this paper, the modal analysis on the low-gravity slosh of a fluid in a spherical tank is investigated. Firstly, the modal functions are denoted by Gauss hypergeometric series. Then the velocity potential and the liquid surface displacement are determined in terms of the modal functions for free slosh modal and forced slosh modal.
