Summary: The paper analyzes the objective and several constraints of DNA encoding and builds a combinatorial optimization model. A global artificial fish swarm (GAFSA) algorithm is proposed to produce a DNA encoding sequences. The results show that DNA sequences produced by GAFSA have better quality than those produced by genetic algorithms, multi-objective evolutionary algorithms and genetic particle swarm optimization algorithms.
