Anticontrol techniques for systems of Lorenz type. (English) Zbl 1187.93050

Summary: The paper investigates some basic dynamical properties of a general system obtained from the Lorenz system using a nonlinear feedback controller. We focus on the bifurcation of the equilibrium points and on the existence and the description of homoclinic and heteroclinic orbits. We present necessary conditions for the anticontrol of chaos in the considered system.
