Reducible second-class constraints of order L: An irreducible approach. (English) Zbl 1194.70032

Summary: An irreducible canonical approach to second-class constraints reducible of an arbitrary order is given. This method generalizes our previous results from [C. Bizdadea, A. Constantin and S.O. Saliu [Europhys. Lett. 50, 169 (2000)]; C. Bizdadea, E. M. Cioroianu, S. O. Saliu, S. C. Sǎraru and O. Bǎluş [J. Phys. A: Math. Theor. 40, No. 48, 14537–14554 (2007; Zbl 1141.70311)] for first- and respectively second-order reducible second-class constraints. The general procedure is illustrated on Abelian gauge-fixed \(p\)-forms.
