On a class of operator-differential equations of the third order with multiple characteristics on the whole axis in the weighted space. (English) Zbl 1363.47085

The paper is devoted to the study of a class of third order operator-differential equations with multiple characteristics considered on the whole axis. The unique solvability and regularity properties are studied in Sobolev-type spaces with weights. Methods of Hilbert spaces and properties of self-adjoint operators are used to obtain this result. The concept of the paper is interesting. The abstract results are illustrated with an example of a boundary value problem for partial differential equations.
